Bois Forte Band of Chippewa, Nett Lake Elementary School

Innovators of the Future Community Based Science Activities fosters excitement in learning and interest in science among young Native American students in Minnesota through early education intervention. The project aims to bolster and continuously reinforce motivation to attain high school graduation and pursue postsecondary education. The long‐range goal is to cultivate a future workforce of Native American biomedical scientists who will work to address the critical health needs of Native Americans through research, including through the study of regenerative medicine.
