        Grant Description
LEAH Lab’s mission is to identify cell therapy treatments in dogs that, due to lower regulatory requirements and reduced costs, can eventually be translated to humans. With this funding, the team will expand their capabilities for developing innovative regenerative cell therapies by acquiring essential lab equipment. With this lab expansion, LEAH Labs plans on 1) completing pilot animal trials towards USDA-licensure in pet dogs and 2) advancing their gene editing technology.
